The clocks have finally gone forward and roll on the longer, brighter days to allow us to get outside more over the next few months. If, like mine, your outdoor space needs some TLC after a long winter, now is the time to focus your attention here and maybe consider your existing furniture options. Therefore, this issue we’ve highlighted some comfortable outdoor seating with everything from large modular sofas to handy little bistro sets.
As well as turning our attention outside, inside we offer easy, cost effective updates for your bedroom with a selection of new season bedlinen as well as rugs and runners which offer practical and interesting additions in the bedroom and throughout your home.
Homes this month take us to Sara and Neil’s renovated Victorian property that effortlessly combines period and modern furnishings. In Dublin interior designer Arlene McIntyre welcomes us into her family home, where a total renovation and stylish redecoration has resulted in a bright, spacious home. Staying in Dublin, homeowner Paul also called on the skills of an interior designer to ensure he got exactly what he was looking for from his new home. And finally, in Longford, a cottage bungalow has been given a new lease of life and the results are absolutely stunning.
In our living section we catch up with Erin Bunting and Jo Facer, the duo behind The Edible Flower who tell us more about their new cookbook that focuses on growing and cooking with flowers. Marty O’Neill indulges in all that Las Vegas has on offer, while Jenny McCleery keeps it local with a staycation at the Dunadry Hotel & Gardens. We’ve also highlighted even more Irish brands you need to know and Conrad McCormick keeps your gardening calendar updated!
