This edition carried English Edition's Cover Story "The World cup Dream" as Cover. This is a special issue on upcoming World Cup, which includes the exclusive columns of winning captains of previous ten World Cups.
Main Story from the region is about the "Water and Power wars" between the Telugu states. Eight months after division AP and Telangana are locked in a battle over sharing power and water. AP wants to sell its surplus power in the open market rather than give the rightful share to Telangana. In a tit-for-tat, TS wants to hold on to the water under its control and not part with a ‘single drop’ either for irrigation or drinking purposes to AP.
Another story from the region "Carving a Niche in Telangana" discuss that how YSR Congress and Telugu Desam parties are trying to woo voters and build an electoral base for the long term in Telangana. The top leaders of two opposition parties in Telangana, YSR Congress and Telugu Desam are again on tours to win the hearts of people. YS Jagan’s sister Sharmila has begun her tour last week while TDP chief N.Chandrababu Naidu will begin his tour in February. Ruling TRS leaders are opposing Chandrababu touring in Telangana.
