Lockdown Colombo City For Atleast Two Weeks
Five per cent of those who are randomly PCR-tested within the city limit are found to be positive. Our City is in danger and I appeal to the relevant authorities to lock the city down. 200 employees of the CMC had tested positive for the virus. People placed under home-quarantine in Mattakuliya had come out of their homes and had gone to work. We are doing our best and had carried out 25,237 PCR tests among the city dwellers. Public also have a role to play and should stay indoors, wear masks and wash their hands
