bound nomad, then to putting down roots again and exploring new waters. He has been talking to locals about their land bound fishing techniques too, more looking in the cracks. Mark Armistead has spent time at the Three Kings exploring fishing options many steam past while Arrum Ali tells us about stumbling upon a marlin for his partner in a borrowed trailer boat. Two of our team, Dan Govier and Pete McGregor have a rundown on boating etiquette which covers both conduct on the water while fishing and at the boat ramp, timely considerations and to be taken to heart to avoid the frustration and maximise the satisfaction of fishing outings. John Eichelsheim’s story about an outing in the Bay of Islands is a
