Everybody seems to be travelling and having a blast this summer. This edition, our focus on thrills and spills takes us across a host of exciting range of topics. We dive into the little black books of three sophisticates-about-town to unveil some best-kept secrets from Singapore. This sultry season in Singapore is usually not associated with dressy soirées or galas. But not this time. In the spirit of summertime glamour, we partner with Cartier to present supple, sleek and captivating high jewellery that complement that sexy number. These jewels, as seen on our cover and cover spread, wear like second skin with just about anything you might slip on. We also flew to Bangkok to catch the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2022 spin- off show, which is a tribute to the late Virgil Abloh; and toured the Louvre in Paris to bring you the new antiquity-inspired Métiers d’Art collection of watches from Vacheron Constantin. It has also been several years since the luxury fashion industry adopted gaming as an important part of its marketing and engagement efforts – a trend we shed more light on in an insightful report. Meanwhile, our watch and jewellery pages showcase vibrantly hued gemstones, masterful designs, chiming timepieces and even new celebrity ambassadors. More action awaits in the lifestyle section, where we discover new BMW models in Bavaria, Germany and introduce you to the new luxury beach resort of Regent Phu Quoc in Vietnam. Counting wine as one of our passions, we also feature five impressive female winemakers or winery owners from around the globe. While we’re on the topic of women, I’m absolutely delighted to present our inaugural Women of Power project. In the appended booklet are profiles of 30 leading ladies in our midst whom we spotlight for making a real difference to our community and even the world at large.
