The budget saga continues for Deer Isle-Stonigton schools. Voters at the annual budget meeting almost unanimously turned down the $7M budget sending it back to the school board for reworking. The elementary school lost one of its long standing teachers this week. Found dead in her home just days after school ended, the island mourns the loss of Debbie Greenlaw.
