For the second year in a row, students at Deer Isle-Stonington High School head to the state finals, this time with their production of Treasure Island. Deer Isle's select board members discuss their 2025 priorities and—no shocker here—road repair is among them. School Union 76 says the deadline for applications for the superintendent's position is now closed—but they aren't disclosing how many have applied. A local couple is honored for their leadership in the fishing industry. And firefighters read to kids at the library for an adorable afternoon of community service and learning.
