Millie Dumas makes her first visit to the Sussex venue a winning one with a much-admired mare from America
IT was mission accomplished for Warners CIC2* winner Millie Dumas, who trekked four-and a-half hours to secure a three-star qualification for Ellie Guy’s exciting brown mare, RF West Indie.
The pair led from the start with a dressage score of 41.1 and, having left all the coloured poles intact, could afford a leisurely trip around the rolling Sussex parkland track for 12.8 time-penalties.
The win was just reward for Millie, who had lost out on an advanced intermediate win at Farley Hall the previous weekend after a scoring mix-up.
