“I SWEAR he’s been on this planet before,” said Vicki Hancox of her talented five-year-old Endeavour IV, one of her two BE90 winners — both first-timers — at this wellestablished venue.
Joyce Brown’s home-bred gelding, who brushes 18hh on the measuring stick, took all three phases in his stride to finish on his dressage score of 30.
“He has the most wonderful, trainable attitude and although he’s enormous he doesn’t ride big,” said Vicki, who has six horses to compete from her yard near Worcester, including her second winner, One More Encore, who joined her team three weeks ago.
“He was a sales livery, but I loved him the moment I saw him,” she said.
Vicki attributed her successful day in part to a showjumping lesson with Richard Waygood the week before Solihull.
