Watty gets to drive £1m of Jaguar Land Rover’s finest automobiles
A short press of the starter button and the engine roars into life. After a bit of a struggle I select first gear, release the clutch and pull away. I take the classic’s engine to about 2500rpm then feel obliged to change up a gear. ‘You can hold on to gears longer if you like,’ the instructor tells me. ‘These engines like to be revved.’
