Even in a vehicle likely to top 5,000 pounds, the standard 3.0-liter turbocharged I-6 provides even and smooth acceleration. It’s pleasing to listen to, reminding you there’s ample power, though it’s not as blunt as the louder and more audacious 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 option. Exhaust notes are a combination of the real thing and some sound enhancement.

Is it still basically the same truck as before? Absolutely, but it’s also a better Super Duty, however incrementally.
