Andy Hall had a Friesian Green T4 that was featured in Issue 73 and not long after someone appeared with a large enough bag of cash that he was tempted to part with it. He started to look around for a replacement and spotted this 1999 long wheelbase version on eBay, the previous owner had done a partial conversion, but it wasn’t to Andy’s taste so out it came after purchase. After replacing the insulation, the ply lining and adding some light grey Veltrim it was time to decide on a layout, having had the regular arrangement of a three quarter width bed and a full run of furniture in his previous van, he knew it worked and so plumped for the same again. He’d bought the cupboards from Auto Barn Camper conversions but decided that he needed to narrow them just a touch, to give a little extra room around the Streamline rock and roll bed he had bought. So, with the help of his brother-in-law, Heath, they shaved around 50mm off the back and successfully got both items in place in no time.
