In a bid to attract cus-tomers, BSNL has set up wifi hotspots in several areas to ramp up its network services. Wi-Fi Services have been introduced for providing high speed internet access at convenient public locations hereunder called as Hot Spots. Installation of Hot Spots is already under process at various cities/ locations.
Thus, BSNL has already set up about 25000 Public Wi-Fi Hotspots over more than 10000 locations with International Standards , Speed, Scalability & Security with Quality of Service connectivity and better Quality of Experience at each Hotspot with Interference free operation. All the above Public Wi Fi Hotspots are Centrally Manageable, Monitorable & Maintainable Pan India Carrier Grade Wi-Fi network with higher availability.
