Being an entrepreneur itself is a tenacious, tricky and lonely journey. And to be successful at it you probably need to get more than 10 things right – I will focus on 3 traits that I feel can help an entrepreneur accelerate his or her success momentum.
CENTRE THE INDIVIDUAL
That is, you. Focus first on your own continued physical and mental health – take time out to invest in yourself – be it meditation, fitness, music or that annual trek, whatever keeps you stress free. Being calm is probably the most important trait of a successful entrepreneur and this calm can be cultivated and you can train yourself to be better at it each day.
The balance of work and life is ephemeral and elusive - rather than looking to strike a balance, actively work on work-life integration. The same has to be understood by the startup team too.
