Pacific mall has recently come up with a new mall at Dwarka. With the recent addition it has four malls - Delhi’s Tagore Garden, Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, Dehradun in Uttarakhand and now Delhi’s Dwarka. How do you ensure that each mall maintains its uniqueness?

In the current scenario it is a tricky situation as we have to keep in mind a plethora of aspects to make sure that we attract more and more people. The first attraction we think is the design and size of the mall. Then comes the right tenant mix that has to be according to the area’s demand. We considered these things in mind as we did a survey to understand the requirements of people. Pacific Tagore Garden is our flagship mall and dominates the market it is in with its premium brand mix. Our mall in Dehradun is the only mall in Dehradun and commands a positioning of a Market Leader of the region. Pacific D21, which is recently launched, is a first of its kind development and a full-fledged mall within a Metro Station with 6 Screen PVR Multiplex, Big Bazaar, Lifestyle, Max, Trends, Reliance Digital, Reliance Jewels, Iconic and 100 plus brands in fashion, lifestyle and F&B.

How do you think mall retailing pattern has changed over the years and what are the key changes that you have observed?
