Sunita Impex has made it possible for many small, medium and big Indian manufacturers to spread their footprint in the global market. For more than five decades, it has been a one-stop destination for the supply of spare parts, machineries, turnkey solutions and project consultancies. The company started its business with the textile industry but due to its promise of quality and strong customer relationships, it spread to sectors like pharmaceuticals, packaging, personal care, food processing and industrial plastics.
Sunita Impex became one of the oldest exporters of textile equipment in India after commencing its operations in 1974 when it started exporting to Bangladesh. With more opportunities emerging in the global market for Indian products, the company expanded its operations to countries like Vietnam and Indonesia. Its current focus is on the African market which is still in its growing stages and shows a lot of potential for Indian manufacturers. The company set its foot in Africa 16 years back; since then it has established its presence in seven countries, including Ethiopia, Uganda, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Senegal.
The company has two divisions: engineering in which it has acquired expertise and a newer division for readymade children’s garments. A well-equipped, state-of-the-art factory in Bangalore manufactures 1,00,000 pieces of garments per month, majorly earmarked for exports. The company’s most intriguing aspect is its dedication towards its customers. Leaders at Sunita Impex make sure to know and understand their customers intricately to devise the best solutions for them. That is the reason for their long-lasting customer and business association.
