Get your mind out of the gutter. Nothing turns CARRIE WONG on more than good, clean fun... sorta. We get Carrie-d away with a game of wordplay: what turns her on? Who has turned on her? How did she turn on the heat at our shoot? Turn the page and read on.
Looks like Carrie Wong isn’t wasting any time getting into the mood for today’s shoot. The theme? Celebs’ biggest turn-ons.
First things first, we should probably clarify that our 23-year-old star is merely referring to her first outfit change for the day. Even though it’s all about turn-ons today, there’s no hanky panky involved. But it doesn’t mean that everyone doesn’t get a little Carrie-d away. Never mind that the lanky beaut finds out the shoot concept only as she strides into the studio and overhears the stylist proclaiming that he wants to sex her up today. “Yeah, I can be sexy!” she quips playfully, though she later professes she’s more “street” than sexy. “But I don’t mind doing something different for a photoshoot.” In her poufy white statement blouse, high-waisted paperbag pants and retro chic round sunnies, she looks like she stepped straight out of a Stylenanda look book, rather than someone who peeled herself off her bed at 5.30am for filming, rushed to the salon to trim those pencil-straight bangs that she sports to play an alien in upcoming Ch 8 drama My Friends From Afar, and finally, to this cover shoot that will last till past dinnertime. Boy, are we pooped just from typing that sentence.
Finally, she settles down for hair and make-up. “So, when was the last time…” we begin to ask. “…The last time I had sex?” she interjects with a giggle.
No sex please, we’re a family-friendly magazine, okay? This sends Carrie into an uncontrollable bout of uproarious laughter, like she’d just heard the funniest wisecrack in the world and won a Star Awards trophy, or three. “But I can drop some hints!” she says with a naughty twinkle in her eye.
