SUMAN SHARMA gets to know newbie ARMAAN RALHAN’S dreams and desires.

If you’ve watched Befikre, then you’d notice the cute banker who almost married Vaani Kapoor. That good looking dude is Armaan Ralhan. The actor is the grandson of noted producer, director and writer O P Ralhan. But Armaan doesn’t have too many memories of his grandfather as the filmmaker passed away when Armaan was a child. “I’ve a few memories of him feeding me amazing Punjabi food,” says he. Armaan’s father Pradeep Ralhan is a businessman and mother Rupali is a homemaker.

Few know that Armaan was part of Sanjay Dutt’s production Hasmukh Pighal Gaya, but the film got shelved. The 26-year-old actor, who has done his schooling in UK and has a business management degree, could have been a corporate warrior in real life. But he feels lucky to have got a second chance in Befikre. He considers Aditya Chopra his mentor and was ecstatic when the filmmaker praised his work. “Sir told me he was happy the way I performed in Befikre. That made my day,” he shares.
