That’s why perhaps she finds resonance in her character of the warrior queen Rani Laxmibai, which she will soon essay in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. That she was first set to do the film on Rani Laxmibai with Ketan Mehta and is now preparing to do it with Krish has generated enough controversy.

But then headlines and Kangana go together. Like in the case of the first look of Hansal Mehta’s Simran, which has piqued the interest of viewers. There’s something disarming about her goofy avatar in the teaser.
