Sitting in Prachi Desai’s 29th floor suburban apartment and looking out through the exquisite French windows, I feel like a hi-flying bird circling over Mumbai’s beautiful skyline. The drawing room opens out to the balcony with a lush garden full of fragrant flowers. On the side table inside, there’s a picture of Prachi posing with her fluffy white cat. She walks in after a few minutes and flops beside me on the pristine white couch with a flask filled with freshly-brewed coffee. “I’m a coffeeholic. I carry my coffee flask everywhere. I miss it now that Azhar is over,” she pouts and then breaks into a smile. She’s dressed in a simple sleeveless white top and blue denims. Her red-hot lipstick and the smartly cut long wavy bob, lazily kissing her face, arrests my attention. “This hairstyle is for my next Rock On!! 2,” she beams. Truly, Prachi has a lot to smile about these days...
