Khloe Kardashian always hoped she’d get to experience the joys of motherhood. “I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along,” she wrote on Instagram in December, while confirming that a bun was finally in her oven. “He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient.”

But while the reality star, 33, has finally got her wish, nothing could prepare her for the heartbreak that surrounded her newborn daughter’s arrival into the world.

Indeed, as it was being reported that Khloe had welcomed her baby girl with Tristan Thompson, it emerged that the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player had been cheating on her for months with a multitude of women.

“Khloe’s dream has turned into a nightmare. Because the news broke right when she gave birth, she’s saying it actually feels like Tristan cheated on her while she was in labour,” reveals NW’s Kardashian insider. “She’s hysterical and can’t stop crying. Devastated doesn’t even begin to describe how she’s feeling.”

Not even her mum Kris Jenner or sisters Kourtney and Kim – who immediately flew to Khloe’s side in Cleveland where she’d been nesting – have been able to console the “distraught” new mum.

And shocking whispers that Tristan, 27, may have cheated on her with as many as 30 women since they became an item in September 2016 have only plunged the knife deeper into her heart.

“Every hour another horror story hits the headlines and she knows in her gut that more women are going to come out of the woodwork saying they’ve hooked up with him,” explains the insider. “Kris has the family therapist on call to coach her through the next few months, because there’s a genuine fear Khloe’s at increased risk of postnatal depression.”
