Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have dreamt of working together again ever since the actor made a memorable appearance on her hit sitcom Friends in 2001.

And while the pair pulled the plug on several projects in the wake of their five-year marriage ending in 2005, some two decades later, they’re finally getting their wish!

Indeed, NW has learnt that the romantically reconciled duo made a top-secret visit to the South of France last week, where they pitched several projects to movie producers during the annual Cannes Film Festival. Oh la la!

“Brad thought it would be a great idea for them to go over and quietly network with some studio bosses,” reveals a film festival insider. “A lot of producers are over there and that’s where deals happen, so Cannes is the place to be if you’re trying to get new projects up and running.”

Jen, however, was a little more reluctant. And it’s understandable why she’d be feeling this way.

While Cannes was always one of her and Brad’s favourite places to visit, it also holds some painful memories.
