As their two-year marriage teeters on the edge, the couple face yet another setback – a possible subpoena in a mysterious death!

Jen & Justin's 'Neverending Nightmare!'

When Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their LA home in 2015, it felt like a huge relief.

Up until that point, dark clouds had cast a constant shadow over their relationship.

First, there was all the drama involving Justin’s ex Heidi Bivens, who he unceremoniously dumped after 14 years when he fell for Jen on the 2011 set of Wanderlust. Then the couple spent months apart as Justin filmed his series The Leftovers in Austin, Texas.

So when they finally made it official in their Bel Air backyard after a three-year engagement, it seemed they could at last start to enjoy their happily-ever-after.

But the dark clouds lingered.

The couple went on a lavish “buddymoon” to Bora Bora, taking 40 of their nearest and dearest with them – including Jason Bateman, Chelsea Handler and producer Joel Silver. But it ended in tragedy after the lifeless body of Joel’s assistant Carmel Musgrove was found floating in a lagoon at 1am on August 20, 2015.

An autopsy later showed that Carmel, 28, had cocaine, marijuana and alcohol in her system, and was affected by exhaustion and heat stroke. Investigators concluded that she drowned while swimming alone.

But her parents Ronald and Ann still have questions about her death – and are demanding Jen and Justin help them find answers!

Late last month, the Musgroves filed a lawsuit against Joel, his production company Silver Pictures and his personal chef Martin Herold in connection with the “wrongful death” of Carmel, alleging that Joel and his staff contributed to her accidental drowning.
