In a groundbreaking discovery, researchers at Austria’s University of Innsbruck found the common gynecological test may also be able to identify other types of female-specific cancers — including ovarian, which currently has no early-stage screening tool and kills more than 13,000 Americans each year!
The scientists say by analyzing a molecular signature in sampled cervical cells, they were able to accurately identify patients with ovarian cancer 71 percent of the time!
