TREBEK WAGERS ALL ON QUIZ CHAMP TO FILL HIS SHOES

BRAINIAC Ken Jennings — the all-time winningest contestant on “Jeopardy!” — is being groomed to replace the show’s ailing host, Alex Trebek, by the beloved TV legend himself, sources spilled.

The 46-year-old former software engineer, who set the record for the quiz show’s longest winning streak at 74 episodes — and is the highest-earning game show contestant of all time with more than $4 million in “Jeopardy!” winnings alone — was recently invited by bigwigs to be a consulting producer and ambassador.

In his new “Jeopardy!” role, Ken will present his own special video categories and develop projects.

But sources snitched he’s also being readied to take over for Alex, 80, who has bravely battled stage 4 pancreatic cancer since early 2019.
