Jorgie Porter returns to Hollyoaks after almost five years... and we’re expecting fireworks!

When Theresa McQueen headed off for a new life in Spain, Hollyoaks fans mourned the loss of such an iconic character. But it gave actress Jorgie Porter the chance to explore a whole world of opportunity outside the fictional Chester village.

Since leaving the soap in March 2016, Jorgie has moved to and from Hollywood, appeared in I’m A Celeb and Celebs Go Dating, and fulfilled her lifelong dream of being a ballerina on stage in the West End musical Fame.

But now Theresa is making her grand return to the soap and reuniting with her troubled family – and Jorgie is fully on board.

“I’m excited, but obviously nervous,” she tells us, during a call to the set.

She needn’t be worried. She’s in good company with old pals such as Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen, and Nick Pickard (Tony Hutchinson). She’s also set to film her first scenes with Chelsee Healey, who plays her cousin Goldie and David Tag (Sylver). So it’s exciting times ahead!

Here, Jorgie tells us all about life back on set and reveals what’s in store for Theresa…
