Since joining the cast of ITVBe reality show TOWIE in 2017, Amber Turner has had her fair share of drama. From heated rows with co-stars to a very public on-off relationship with her now boyfriend Dan Edgar, Amber, 27, has shown she’s a force to be reckoned with and is not afraid to go after what she wants.
When we chat to the Essex girl over the phone, she seems happier than ever and is enjoying a dreamy trip to Dubai with 30-year-old Dan. Although it hasn’t been all smooth sailing for the couple, Amber says their six-month separation in 2018 was crucial for their relationship.
“Us breaking up for six months was the best thing that’s ever happened,” she reveals. “Since we’ve got back together it’s just been the best and we’ve had no issues at all.”
Here, Amber tells us about moving in with Dan, feeling broody and why she feels under pressure to constantly look perfect…
Hey Amber! You and Dan seem to be in a really good place...
Yes, Dan and I are really happy. We’re living together properly now. I don’t have my flat any more, so I’ve moved all my stuff in with him. We get on so well together and really do love each other’s company. It’s one little happy relationship for sure.
You previously separated for six months. What was it that brought you back together, do you think?
Dan and I have always been drawn to each other. We just have this thing. Even before we got together properly, we were always seeing each other. Sometimes relationships need that break for people to really realise what’s important. You have to realise you are meant to be and that you want to be in each other’s lives.
