Earlier this year Marnie Simpson told new of her hopes to add to her and fiancé Casey Johnson’s brood. And now the couple couldn’t be more excited to announce that they do indeed have another little one on the way! The Geordie Shore star is 13 weeks pregnant with a sibling for the couple’s two-year-old son Rox, who Marnie says is now fully entrenched in the “terrible twos”.
But while the 29-year-old admits she felt like a “ray of sunshine” during her first pregnancy, things have been a little different this time around. “I’ve been sick out of the car window three or four times!” laughs Marnie, who is due on 27 May. “This time I genuinely feel like the walking dead.”
But still, it’s lovely news for the couple, who both star on MTV reality show Geordie OGs, as Marnie has previously spoken of her worry about carrying a child again because she suffers from a chronic bladder condition that got much worse following Rox’s birth. But with Marnie now in a much better place with her health (apart from the morning sickness!), and the couple back on track following a brief split in January, plus a new house in the mix, it seems baby number two couldn’t have come at a better time.
Here, Marnie and former Union J singer Casey, 26, who got engaged in August 2020, tell new about their hopes for a little girl, their shock at finding out the news, and why their wedding plans have now totally changed…
Congrats, guys! How does it feel to have baby number two on the way?
