‘Larose is perfect – she's completed my life'

Lauren Goodger and boyfriend Charles Drury introduce their newborn daughter Larose and reveal how having a child together has cemented their love for each other

Just six days after welcoming their baby girl, Lauren Goodger and her boyfriend Charles Drury call new to wax lyrical about their “perfect” daughter. The new parents are so in love with their little one, who they’ve named Larose after Lauren’s full name Lauren Rose, and can’t wait to tell us all about her.

“She’s so petite!” Lauren, 34, gushes. “You know when you’re looking forward to Christmas morning? That’s what I feel like every morning when I wake up and look at her. I just love her so much.”

Larose arrived three days early at 8.21 am on July 20 at their home in Essex, weighing in at a healthy 8lb 9oz after a seven-hour natural labour with just a bit of help from gas and air. And Lauren and Charles quickly fill us in on all the details of the “textbook” home water birth.

“I’m really proud of what I’ve done and I really feel like I’ve achieved something amazing and it was the perfect end result to a good pregnancy,” she says.

Meanwhile, builder Charles, 24, was there by her side during the delivery and even filmed the moment his daughter came into the world.

“I’ve watched it 20 times now and every time I cry without fail,” he tells us.

Describing Lauren as a mother, he adds, “She’s just taken to it amazingly – you’d think she’d done it before.”

“It’s like we’re in sync,” Lauren adds.

The former TOWIE star told new in her last interview that she wanted another baby quite soon after the birth of her daughter. But now it seems that although they’re not yet engaged, a wedding could be on the cards before they have any more children.
