‘Seeing any kind of ex is never comfortable'

Ex On The Beach is back and Megan Barton-Hanson reveals all about the goings-on in the Gran Canaria villa

Many of us are counting down the days to a much-needed dose of summer sunshine, but for now we’ll have to make do with watching some of our favourite celebs sizzling in the heat with the return of Ex On The Beach.

This year promises to be a corker, too, with a great line-up of familiar faces including Love Island UK alumni Megan Barton-Hanson, 27, Kaz Crossley, 23, and Michael Boateng, 30. Also heading into the villa are RuPaul’s Drag Race UK queen A’Whora, 25, TOWIE ’s James “Lockie” Lock, 35, Too Hot To Handle star Kori Sampson, 25, Married At First Sight Australia‘s KC Osborne, 32, Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry, 30, and Love Island Sweden star Sofie Karlstad, 24.

This series has a new twist with the Shack of Secrets, which will cause havoc by unveiling new exes and setting secret missions. But who will be paired and then pulled apart by the Tablet of Terror?

Whatever else kicks off in the villa, all eyes will be on Megan and James, who had a whirlwind romance after the MTV show was filmed last year, then split in December.

“A lot of people said he was the boy version of me, so I was like, we probably won’t get on, but we got on… so that was nice,” says Megan.

But she adds, “I wasn’t looking for love. It was more of an experience.”
