With a new man and big plans the star is loving life.

Her list of strengths may seem obvious, but Jennifer Lopez is more than happy to share her accomplishments when asked. ‘Great performer, great actress, great producer,’ she says. ‘Most importantly, a great mother, great sister and a great girlfriend. I’ve also been a great wife.’

However, the 48-year-old admits it’s taken a lot for her to see herself this way. ‘When I was younger I spent a lot of time being half happy and half not happy,’ she says. The difference now? ‘I know who I am and what I want. I also know my strengths and weaknesses. It took me a long time to get to a point where I could say something nice about myself.’

SO IN LOVE

While JLo has shared more than a few romances in her time, her love story with former baseballer Alex Rodriguez seems to be one for the ages. The pair have become inseparable since their relationship began in February last year, and Alex, 42, says it’s their similarities that have cemented their love for one another. ‘We are very much twins,’ he says. ‘We’re both Leos; we’re both from New York; we’re both Latino and about 20 other things.’
