Splitting her time between Sydney and Melbourne – where she’s been filming Neighbours for the past two years – Jodi Anasta admits time away from her four-year-old daughter Aleeia can be difficult. ‘I’m really lucky, actually, because Aleeia understands the process of what I do,’ the 33-year-old explains. ‘Every Monday, when I drop her off, she says, “Mummy, I’ll see you on Friday when you come back from Melbourne.” She makes it easy for me.’ Here, Jodi talks to OK! about making every moment together special…

What’s your favourite thing to do with your daughter when you’re together?

The other week we went trampolining and it was so much fun. Oh my God, it’s like you release your inner child. So we enjoyed doing that, and we also went ice-skating last week. I try to find one or two big activities for us to do over the weekend.

Do you think Aleeia might follow in your footsteps, career-wise?
