The couple’s marriage Woes Deepen as David Relocates to Miami.

Smiling triumphantly, David Beckham looked proud as punch as he announced the launch of his Major League Soccer team in Miami on January 29. ‘I’m going to be spending a huge amount of time here,’ he divulged during his speech. ‘When I’m in something, I’m in 100 per cent.’

The victory, many years in the making, was praised by his peers, with everyone from Jay-Z to Serena Williams, Will Smith and Jennifer Lopez recording messages of congratulations to the 42-year-old. And while his wife Victoria also sent her well wishes from afar, the 43-year-old’s absence at the event gave a pretty clear indication of her feelings about the business move.

Vic was replaced on the night by their eldest son Brooklyn, 18, and ‘is seething, devastated and furious,’ says a source of Becks’ decision. ‘Having to spend so much time away from the family will put a real strain on things.’
