PRIYANKA PRIYANKA CHOPRA talks marriage, babies and the future.

Priyanka's New World

THEY’VE been married for less than six months but Priyanka Chopra admits there is already a significant other coming between her and husband Nick Jonas. That other thing is work, and while it does indeed force the newlyweds apart, it will never be for good – both Priyanka and Nick are making sure of that. A strict rule of never spending too long apart is just one of the ways Indian superstar Priyanka, 36, and her 26-year-old American pop idol and actor husband are making their marriage and respective careers work. Starting a family is most definitely on the cards now that they’ve tied the knot, but for now it’s all about finding the right balance and, perhaps surprisingly, ‘getting to know each other’. Here the new Mrs Jonas talks about life as a newlywed, working things out with Nick, their family plans and how they’ll never be more than a first-class flight apart.

How have things changed for you now that you’re married?

Things haven’t changed. We are still navigating because we didn’t date for a very long time. We are still getting to know each other. It’s just magical because every day is like a new feeling and learning something new.

How does it feel to have gone from being fiercely independent to sharing your life with someone?
