SRIDEVI’S Untimely death was a shocker. Sumita Chakraborty finds out the truth behind her tragic death.
Shock followed acute disbelief – this just couldn’t be true... Didn’t we see the very gorgeous Sridevi dancing with her husband Boney Kapoor at her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding in Dubai just a few days back? Didn’t she look so ethereal posing for the shutterbugs there? How was it possible…
But unfortunately, the dreadful news was cent percent true. The queen of celluloid dreams Sridevi was indeed no more.
Sequence Of Events
Supposedly, after Mohit Marwah’s wedding celebration ended, Boney, their daughter Khushi and others from the Kapoor Khandaan returned to Mumbai. Jahnvi was busy shooting in India so had not been able to attend the wedding. Sridevi, however, decided to stay back to attend an auction and supposedly, meet her sister Srilatha. She was put up in room 2201 at the plush Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel and supposedly, spent the next two days in her hotel room itself.
Boney returned to Mumbai to attend industrialist Manmohan Shetty’s birthday, then went with Amar Singh to attend an investor’s forum in UP. He then returned to Dubai that fateful day to surprise Sridevi and take her out for a romantic dinner.
Boney and Sridevi allegedly spoke for some time and Sridevi went to have a bath in order to change for dinner. Boney went on to watch TV for some time until he realised that Sridevi was taking too long in the bathroom. After getting no response from her despite repeated calls, Boney rushed into the bathroom and found Sridevi lying senseless. Boney and a friend along with the hotel medicos rushed Sridevi to the hospital. Unfortunately, the superstar was no more.
