Women Are Vamps

Apart from being hits, most of Luv Ranjan movies have one major thing in common - and that is glorifying women as super bitches. Women, according to Luv Ranjan are either manipulators, gold diggers, bimbos or perhaps a combination of all three. Divya Ramnani finds out why women are always the bane of the heroes’ life in all Luv Ranjan’s films.

- In Luv Ranjan’s latest blockbuster Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Sonu advises Titu to have flings with hot blonde girls instead of settling down with Sweety because, according to him, she was marrying him just for his fortune. …And guess what, the climax ends with Sonu being absolutely correct about his impression of Titu’s girlfriend.

Hey, we absolutely don’t endorse this…but Luv Ranjan obviously does, through his movies. The above lines are a few excerpts from the famous Pyaar Ka Punchnama’s seven minute long monologue, ranted by the highly frustrated boyfriend essayed by Kartik Aaryan about his girlfriend. And guess what, in Luv’s next film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety too, his impression of women is no better. So why does Luv Ranjan keep portraying women as anti-heroes and men as ever suffering heroes?
