Sets up Laura Wright (Carly), “The first week is a little rough for her. I don’t think she realized how bad it was going to be; she’s thinking, ‘I’m just going to keep my mouth shut, do what I’m told and get the heck out of here.’ But the nurse who runs her floor has [attendants] literally hold her down and cram drugs down her throat. So it goes from, ‘I’m just going to play nice and get out of here as fast as I can’ to, ‘I could be stuck in here forever and they’re going to dope me up.’ It’s pretty bad.”
