Sonny’s quest to locate his missing nephew intersects with an ailing Sam’s belief that she needs to eliminate the don to protect her family.
Courtesy of Spencer’s kidnapper, Sonny gets some intel about the boy’s whereabouts, and heads into a dangerous situation in hopes of saving him. “Sonny has made this vow not to get involved in criminal activity, but when hit with the [chance to] rescue his nephew, he does what he has to do,” sets up Co-Head Writer Shelly Altman. “Even Carly has to recognize that this is who Sonny is and that what he’s doing is the right thing to do. And Sonny is a smart man. He does not blindly go into this situation, which he suspects probably is a trap — but nonetheless, when he gets there, he is hit with a major surprise.”
