For Brad Pitt, the past three Christmases were far from the most wonderful time of the year. Since his split from Angelina Jolie in 2016, the Ad Astra star has seen his children during the holidays — but only under the watchful eye of a court-appointed monitor. Though Brad agreed to it as part of the terms of his ongoing custody negotiation with his ex — who accused the actor of getting physical with one of their kids during an altercation on a private jet — he didn’t relish having an outsider assess his every move with his children. The whole messy ordeal, an insider told Star at the time, was “hell.”
