KATY PERRY is no bridezilla. Instead, in planning her vows to love of five years, Orlando Bloom, the 37-year-old refers to herself as a “bridechilla.”
She’s had to be. The pair, engaged for three years, have had a bumpy road to the altar, with the pandemic repeatedly putting the kibosh on their planned destination wedding. “Every couple of months it’s like, ‘New variant! New variant! New variant!” she joked during a recent radio appearance.
Now sources tell Star the American Idol judge and her fiancé, 45 — who welcomed daughter Daisy in August 2020 — are ready to reboot their nuptials once again. “They’ve scaled back on the size of the party,” reveals an insider. “But they’ll invite friends and family to help them celebrate.” And a destination do is still on the books. “Mexico and Hawaii are strong contenders,” adds the source.
