Duchess of Cambridge The making of a MODERN QUEEN

After two years filled with drama, scandal and tragedy, the British royal family has never been more in need of a little bit of distracting star power. And on September 28, Kate Middleton provided just that while attending the long-awaited premiere of the new James Bond film, No Time to Die, in London.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked resplendent in a glittering gold cape-style gown by British designer Jenny Packham as she walked the red carpet at Royal Albert Hall alongside husband Prince William, both 39. The glamorous outfit worn by the mum-of-three left many royal watchers declaring it was Kate’s “best look ever”. “This is what a future queen looks like,” one social media user perfectly summed it up.

Despite A-list celebrities also lining up to attend the star-studded event, it was clear the Cambridges stole the show. Even the man of the hour, actor Daniel Craig, 53, who took on playing the iconic spy for the last time in the movie, exclaimed that Kate looked “jolly lovely”.

“The lines between royalty and celebrity are now closer than ever as the likes of Prince William and Kate move more into the realm of being popular public figures for the younger generation,” commentator and body language expert Darren Stanton told British newspaper The Sun. “It’s clear that William and Kate have used this as a platform to grow immensely popular with the public in recent years, too.”
