Malala's PRECIOUS DAY

Nearly a decade after she survived an assassination attempt by the Taliban over campaigning for girls’ education in Pakistan, Malala Yousafzai has found her happily ever after. The 24-year-old, who became the world’s youngest Nobel Peace Prize laureate in 2014, tied the knot with partner Asser Malik – sharing the sweet news on Instagram.

Alongside a series of stunning photographs, Yousafzai opened up about her wedding day, which was celebrated with “a small nikkah ceremony at home” in Birmingham, England, with just the couple’s families and three friends in attendance. “Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life,” she shared. “Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.”
