PINK - ‘I'M PRETTY NORMAL IN A WEIRD WAY!'

Pink, like every mum, had to pivot when the coronavirus pandemic brought the world to a record-scratching stop. “For us it was like, the kids are going to be home all the time, we can’t go anywhere, and we have to try not to get sick – but then we did,” says the pop star, who, along with her son Jameson, 4, battled COVID-19 last (US) spring. For 12 weeks “we were really, really sick, and it was dicey,” adds Pink, 41, who was so concerned about her condition that she rewrote her will while battling the virus. “It was really scary.”

Once she recovered, the pop star – known for her empowering anthems and high-flying performances – tackled a new role: teacher. “I started making all these color-coded charts. From 9 am to 10 am we’re doing art. Then 10.30 to 11.30 was PE, and we’re going to run around outside,” recalls Pink, who also shares daughter Willow, 9, with her husband, pro motocross racer Carey Hart, 45. “It was like, OK, we just have to figure it out.”
