Competitive outdoor cycling can be expensive and hazardous, especially here in the country. Aside from the pricey equipment and the expected risk of injuries, you also have to deal with unpredictable weather, Metro Manila traffic, and dangerous drivers. It doesn’t sound appealing at all, especially for those looking to make cycling outdoors as part of their training.

Luckily, Andy Leuterio of Maximus Athlete’s Shop Cafe gives riders, old and new, a revolutionary training station inside the comfort of his own café.

One of a kind

Cycle Studio is the first in the country to offer a real-time virtual space for competitive cyclists and beginners.

This indoor training station, located at the second floor of Maximus Athlete’s Shop Cafe, allows riders to feel and train in real-world conditions without leaving the comfort of the shop. Cycle Studio is fitted with Tacx smart trainers and also the first in the country to use Zwift, an immersive online platform that connects riders to a digital space shared by thousands of others around the world.
