Thank heavens for geese. And ducks, ducklings, goslings, swans and coots. In a heartbeat, they’ve gone from being a pleasant sight for someone with a passing interest in birdlife, to an absolute necessity that helps to get me through the week.
Allow me to explain. The day our little family had been dreading finally arrived last week. There are people that can’t wait for their parental leave to end. My wife Angie is not one of them. She loved being home with our son B. And I loved having her at home.
