They say that behind every great man is a strong woman, and Scott Pash is living proof. Arlette Frampton caught up with Scott and wife Jenny ahead of their latest ministry venture.
Scott Pash is quick to thank God for his wife’s Jenny’s commitment to the call of God.
Calling her the ‘unsung hero’, Scott revealed how his GP wife has willingly moved location several times, changed her job and been in full support of his training programme and journey to becoming the senior minister at Hope Church, Lane End, High Wycombe.
“I think God doesn’t just call the minister, he calls the wife too,” says Scott, 40.
“I think God’s calling works within the two: I do what I can do because of my wife. If she wasn’t so pliable and willing to obey what the Lord says, we wouldn’t be doing any of this. She is probably the unsung hero in this story.”
Jenny, 38, adds, “I am really excited about our forthcoming move to Elim Hope Church, Lane End. It has been amazing to see how God has worked over the last few months in our lives, providing a house for our family, a school and nursery for the children and a wonderful job in the local GP surgery in the same village for me.
“Over the last few years we have moved several times as we have followed the call of God in our lives, moving from Birmingham to Malvern whilst Scott studied at Regents and then to Silverdale for his Minister in Training period.
