Question: Guruji, yesterday you say we are all pawns and it is grace that makes us move. Is there free will?

Sri Sri: Yes, but that grace is inside, so you are moving and you have free will too.

Question: When yakshas, ghandarvas, kinnaras, all these levels, have to take a human body, does the Guru also have to take a human body?

Sri Sri: Guru is already in the body. The siddhas don’t have to take a body. Siddha means perfected.

Question: We are all pawns and everything is predetermined, but then, there was a discussion about free will and destiny and that we do have choices. So, when you are making those choices, are those also predetermined?

Sri Sri: Some yes, some no.

Question: Guruji you talked about units of life. Can you explain, when you said, such and such has one unit of life, then two, what exactly did you mean by that?

Sri Sri: They are called kalas. Kala means unit of life. Stones have one, water has two, like that. Plants have six, animals seven. Human beings have eight.

Question: If some choices are already made, how do you know that is the one and how do you take that choice?
