Jason Manford and Catherine Tyldesley play a couple rekindling their romance in a seaside sitcom.
NEW COMEDY
Scarborough Friday, BBC1 HD, 9.30pm
Sun-kissed sitcom Benidorm may have ended last year but there’s more sea, sand and smiles on offer courtesy of creator Derren Litten’s latest comedy Scarborough, set in the North Yorkshire seaside town.
The six-parter centres on Mike (Jason Manford) and Karen (Catherine Tyldesley), who are giving things another go, five years after they split. Karen ended it as she wanted stability and Mike’s ambition to be an entertainer meant he was never at home.
