The stars of Four Weddings and a Funeral reunite for the charity fundraiser
Red Nose Day is always a highlight of the TV calendar and Friday’s star-studded night of comedy and music will be no exception.
It’s two years since writer Richard Curtis brought the stars of Love Actually back together for a memorable one-off sequel for Comic Relief. Now, he’s done it again – reuniting the cast of his classic romcom Four Weddings and a Funeral for Red Nose Day.
A quarter of a century after Four Weddings became a box-office hit around the world, the cast is back in a 12-minute sequel, entitled One Red Nose Day and a Wedding. Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell reprise their roles as incurable romantic Charles and American guest Carrie, while Anna Chancellor is back as Duckface and Rowan Atkinson returns as bumbling vicar Father Gerald.
