Comedian Romesh Ranganathan passes judgment on minor real-life disputes
NEW REAL LIFE
Judge Romesh
Wednesday, Dave HD, 10 pm
It’s only six years since Romesh Ranganathan quit his job as a maths teacher to become a stand-up comedian. Since then, he’s been a familiar face on TV as a regular on comedy panel shows and in two travel series of his own – Asian Provocateur and The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan.
Not content with being a comedian and travel presenter, Ranganathan can now add judge to his list of professions as he presides over real-life disputes in his new show Judge Romesh, starting with a double bill this week.
With the help of Successville’s Tom Davis as the bailiff and Him & Her’s Kerry Howard as the court clerk, Ranganathan gives rulings on non-too-serious cases brought to him by members of the public and by a few celebrities…
Here, Ranganathan, 40, gives his verdict on the series…
